  38.      INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  40.        - Drag the file "Shockwave68K" into the Netscape "Plug-ins"
  41.          folder.

  44.      KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH WORKAROUNDS:
  45.      
  46.        - Out of Memory Errors (5 or -108).
  47.          Workaround: Increase Netscape's application memory to 8000k.
  48.          Restart Netscape.
  49.        - General redraw/refresh problems.
  50.          Workaround: Select Reload from the buttonbar or View menu.
  51.        - Movies using shared.dir may crash.
  52.          Workaround: Don't play movies with shared.dir in the same
  53.          folder.
  54.        - Changing the color depth or screen resolution while a movie
  55.          is playing will cause the movie to draw incorrectly.
  56.          Workaround: Select Reload from the buttonbar or View menu.
  57.        - KeyUp lingo commands will not work.
  58.          Workaround: Use keyDown.
  59.        - If the Disk Cache is set to 0k, movies will not play.
  60.          Workaround: Increase Netscape's Disk Cache to 5000k.
  61.        - A broken icon appears indicating the movie cannot be loaded.
  62.          Workaround: Select Reload from the buttonbar or View menu.
  63.          Also, ensure the web server MIME-type is 
  64.          "application/x-director".
  65.        - Keyboard or mouse selections do not seem to work outside
  66.          the movie area.
  67.          Workaround: Ensure repeat loops do not execute for more than
  68.          1 second because the user will be unable to interact with the
  69.          browser during Lingo loops.  Loop by moving between frames 
  70.          instead.

  73.      KNOWN PROBLEMS WITHOUT WORKAROUNDS:
  74.      
  75.        - Transitions. Cover, push, reveal and wipe transitions may 
  76.          display garbage on the stage.  Dissolve transitions will 
  77.          appear as dissolve pattern.
  78.        - NetLingo commands.  PreloadNetThing may not work in 
  79.          conjunction with gotoMovie and gotoNetPage.       
  80.        - Multiple movies on a page may not work as expected.
  81.        - Tables.  Movies embedded in tables may crash.
  82.        - PPC issues (such as a broken icon).  Avoid using Virtual 
  83.          Memory.  Avoid using Speed Doubler.
